OSINT: Shelling of UN Schools by IDF

Keeping things purely analytical; Bad things happen in armed conflict - why?
Analysis by Robert Johnson

In a war that tilts based on news and public perception the world over, when civilians are used as tools to manufacture bad publicity the term "terrorism" comes into its true, full meaning. Over the last two days IDF forces fired on two UN Schools. The only question that matters is why? The only positive news that can come out of this; local Gazans leaked the details. This does not mean they were IDF suporters, but does hint at a change in feeling toward Hamas.

The AP published the below comments...

"Two residents of the area near UN school that was shelled by the IDF on Tuesday said that they had seen a small group of terrorists firing mortar rounds from a street close to the school. The two spoke with The Associated Press by telephone on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisal."

"The school grounds were being used by terrorists to fire mortar shells at troops stationed nearby, and the soldiers responded by firing mortars back, the army said. According to the IDF, the dead included members of the Hamas rocket cell, including senior operatives Imad Abu Askhar and Hassan Abu Askhar."
